LONG ISLAND CITY—The massive, 421-apartment building with red terraces coming to 41-42 24th Street has a name, and it’s—drumroll please—Q. (QLIC, to be precise) A tipster sent us a batch of photos that catch up on the construction progress and reveal the new name and teaser site. The building is expected to be complete in 2015.

CITYWIDE—On May 3 and 4, the Municipal Art Society will celebrate urban activist Jane Jacobs through their annual series of over 150 free walking tours throughout the five boroughs. Featured walks inclide a preview of Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Pier Two and Pier Four Beach, an exploration of America’s first planned garden and co-op, and a tour of Upper East and West Side mansions.
