As The World-Wide Group’s 21-story, 421-unit multi-family development continues to rise at Queens Plaza North and 24th Street in Long Island City, the company announced that it has reached two significant project milestones.
The building will officially be called “QLIC,” a name chosen to celebrate the flourishing Long Island City neighborhood.
Additionally, aptsandlofts.com has been selected as the project’s exclusive leasing agent.
Construction at QLIC has already reached the 7th floor and, when completed, the building will stand 21-stories tall with a mix of studio to three bedroom rental units.
The new development is located in the heart of Long Island City’s 24/7 neighborhood and offers superb transportation access.
David Lowenfeld, executive vice president of The World-Wide Group, said QLIC will provide over 25,000 s/f of amenities including a rooftop outdoor pool with a landscaped deck, a state-of-the-art fitness center, private gardens, indoor parking and bike room.
QLIC will open its doors to residents in early 2015.
